Sailing in the Caribbean

In January, a container of 20 Hansa 303’s was sent to Antigua in the Caribbean to facilitate a sailing program. A Paralympic Development Program (PDP) was held, which attracted new sailors and officials from
Trinidad, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and of course host nation Antigua. Members of World Sailing came from France, South Africa and the UK and the Hansa Sailing team came from Australia and Holland.

Alison Sly-Adams, President of the Caribbean Sailing Association wrote an article for Antigua News, which included a speech by Hansa Sailing’ Chris Mitchell that was delivered at the National Sailing Academy.
