Hansa 303 sailors took to the water in Baltimore in early October as part of Baltimore Sailing Club’s ‘Ya’Gotta Regatta’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is an important fundraiser for the Club’s adaptive sailing program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5 races were completed for the 303 singles, with Nicole Ritchey winning 3 of the 5 races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Club was featured in an article in July by the “Baltimore Fishbowl”, which covered programs in the Baltimore area that aim to make sailing more accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The article also featured the stories of the Universal Sailing Club, a group that was formed in 2001 for African-American people to discover sailing and the Siebel Sailing Program – designed to attract middle-school children to the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
