Sailability Kogarah Bay
A TEST OF NAVIGATION SKILLS: From the north - Park entry (down the hill) not very obvious, almost immediately after Beach St. If you miss the turnoff - go to the underpass on the Sydney side of Tom Uglys Bridge, back up the Highway and follow the instructions from the south!
From the south - Go past the Club to Church St. turn left and go round the garden plot and out to the lights, turning right from Water St. onto the Highway and follow the instructions from the north! Sailability operates from the Kogarah Bay Sailing Club at the southern end of Dover Park, Blakehurst, with easy parking and good wheel-chair access run by friendly volunteers. In October last we were awarded the ‘2010 Sydney South Volunteer Team of the Year' Sailing days are Saturdays twice a month in summer and once a month in winter 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost $5 per day, lunch and refreshments available or b.y.o. picnic. We also run, in conjunction with the Dept. of Education, a schools program for Special Needs children on Wednesdays in school terms.
